Regional specialties pamper the taste buds
Cooking with a deep awareness for the region and its roots is important to us.
Food should ground you, it should warm and satisfy – and make you happy.
Homemade jam with breakfast, fresh eggs from the Pürstl-Bauer farm in Pürstlmoos,
the fabulous fragrance of freshly baked bread.
Wild game exclusively from the Lungau region, mostly from hunters we are friends with,
full-flavored venison ham – smoked in-house,
the potatoes, our domestic "Lungauer Eachtling", grown organically,
mushrooms and berries from the surrounding forests,
and in the summer months, salad ingredients and fresh herbs from the garden refine our dishes.
And in conclusion, a shot of good schnapps from the Moser distillery in Zederhaus
or our "Zirberl", a pine schnapps created by the owner himself.
Our kitchen is happy to serve you daily from Tuesday through Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 9 p.m.,
on Mondays our à la carte restaurant is closed.
In the afternoon from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. we offer a smaller afternoon menu.
